<p>The latest Soil Selfies are from the Wimmera -Mallee: <a href="http://soils.enviroed4all.com.au/soil-selfies/wimmera-mallee/pineplains-snowdrifts/">sandy</a> dune used for recreation and nature at Pine Plains, and black <a href="http://soils.enviroed4all.com.au/soil-selfies/wimmera-mallee/jeparit-blackclay/">clays</a> used for food production near Jeparit.</p>
<p>From the threat of soil erosion at the Warracknabeal Rifle Butt to the active sandy lunette dune at Pine Plains moving over nearby trees, both need protection from 4WD damage.  From these threats of erosion on these hilly landforms, at Jeparit the threat to loss of soil on flat land is instead by its caving in to sinkholes.</p>
